Saturday, Mike and I took a trip up to Seattle to do some open air. It was raining that day and so we feared that we would need to cancel, but wisdom prevailed and told us to go. So we left and started to trip up north. On the way we made a few stops, one of which was to pick up Mikes daughter so that we could take her to her cousins house in the Seattle area. The next stop was at the Olympia "Heresy Hut" (Christian Books store) to pick up a CD that Mike had ordered. While there, Mike was able to witness to a Local MAC Pastor Who considered himself to be a very good person.
Upon leaving the H.H. I noticed a car that looked a lot like Kris' car and we just had to stop and take a look. Sure enough, it was Kris. He was waiting outside the Drug store with hi wife to pick up a prescription. Kris' wife has been having some health issues and they had been at the hospital all that morning. So we said hi to them and goodbye and then left for Seattle.
We arrived at Westlake at about four O'clock and were able to preach the Gospel there with amplification for about 4 hours. During that time we had many wonderful one on ones including an encounter Mike had with a young man who was shook his hand and hugged him at the end. Please pray for this young man?! His name is Tate, and he is not far from the Kingdom of heaven.
Also during the preaching we noticed an officer walk by with a guy that was so heavily drugged that he could not even stand up. They had to call two ambulances and at least four other Police officers to the seen because at one point this guy tried to attack the officer that was holding him down. I kept preaching right up until the officer asked me to stop so that they could hear. Apparently the guy had passed out and they were trying to wake him up. So Mike and I went around to all the onlookers and gave them all tracts.
After this we went across the street because Mike wanted to preach a little more. As soon as he was done, we headed out for Kent.
We arrived at Kent station close to 9 PM and I jumped up on the box and preached for a while. Mike got up after me and we did rounds like that for a while. We had some pretty good encounters and a lot of convicted people.
We made it home that night a little after 1 AM.
On a personal note, I am so impressed with what God is doing in this State. Left and right is seems He is raising up laborers and spurring on the Saints to preach the Gospel. More and more we bump into people out on the street that tell us that they are witnessing around their area.
May God use NWSM to turn this State upside down.
God Bless
